Tell us how your story began. What was the inflection point that made you realize this could become a serious business, not just an idea?

After graduating in Computer Engineering from Ege University in Turkey, we decided to return to Albania and build our company from the ground up. We were just two engineers with no initial capital. From day one, we believed this would become a serious business. We had analyzed the market and noticed that existing companies were relying on outdated technologies. We were 100% confident that we could build higher-quality, high-performance software compared to what was available at the time.

In 2009, we launched Bilanc Online, a product that didn’t exist in the market — designed specifically to help manage distributed businesses. It eliminated the need for dedicated internet connections, significantly reducing operational costs. With Bilanc Online, businesses could work more efficiently and flexibly, without the infrastructure constraints others still depended on.

Share a little-known fact about your industry, product, or market that would surprise most people.

A little-known fact is that when we transitioned to a full SaaS model in 2010, the concept was virtually unknown in Albania. We weren’t just early adopters — we were market creators. That first-mover advantage allowed us to shape customer expectations, build strong brand loyalty, and establish a recurring revenue model well before the market caught up.

Five years from now, what headline would you love to read about your company?

In the next 3–5 years, we aim to become a leader in our current market.
We are planning for an average annual growth of 17%, and we expect to increase our team to 32 employees within 3–4 years. Our goal is to develop the capabilities required to expand operations into the EU and/or US market.
