Simobotics

Simobotics is located in the town of Mizia, Northwestern Bulgaria, established in 2021 with the main activity of designing and manufacturing mobile and collaborative robots by Dr. Georgi Georgiev, winner of the Eureka Prize for Young Scientist and part of the prestigious “40 under 40” ranking. In 2024, the company introduced three innovative products. The first multi-purpose autonomous mobile robot MITO. It is part of an ecosystem of platforms through which it quickly and easily changes its application during work. MITO has a fork architecture equipped with an artificial intelligence camera, which allows it to detect, lift and transport pallets without additional equipment, as well as connect to the platforms in the ecosystem. In addition to MITO, the team also developed the second generation of the first Bulgarian collaborative robot, named Bulbot. The cobot has an innovative contactless safety system and a new intuitive graphical interface, completely new electronics and control system, a digital twin and an innovative joystick called PENka – part of a control and management system that allows controlling the robot without programming, that is, the cobot interprets the movement of the hand holding the joystick.
