Dare to Scale 2020 Kicks off with 12 Companies

On September 10, Endeavor Bulgaria launched the 2nd edition of its Growth Program – Dare to Scale, at Sofia Tech Park.

The kick-off started with an Orientation session for the 12 participating companies and was followed by a cocktail. Irina Encheva, the program’s director, briefed the entrepreneurs on what to expect in the upcoming 4 months in terms of mentorship sessions, workshops and networking events. The participants had the opportunity to share their current challenges as well as expectations from the program.

Following the introductory session, the entrepreneurs were joined by the program’s partners and mentors for an informal cocktail. Momchil Vassilev, Endeavor Bulgaria’s Managing Director, greeted the attendees and shared that an ecosystem’s strength depends on the functioning of its internal elements. He added that Dare to Scale can already be seen as an example for such a cohesive system as some of the participating companies are already exchanging ideas which have the potential to turn into successful business collaborations.

Among the guests were also Dimitar Shumarov, Executive Director and CFO of Dare to Scale’s main partner, Postbank as well as Kalin Radev, CEO of Software Group and Boyko Takov, Executive Director of BSMEPA – partners of the program. They all restated their commitment to the success of Dare to Scale’s 2020 cohort.

Dare to Scalers will gather next week for the first workshop on Product-Market Fit, to be led by Vassil Terziev – Endeavor Bulgaria’s Co-Chairman of the Board and Partner at Eleven Venture Fund.

Welcome and good luck to the Dare to Scale Class of 2020!
