Endeavor Bulgaria Honors its Most Active Mentors at the Annual Networking Cocktail

Endeavor Bulgaria’s Annual Cocktail, powered by Postbank, held Tuesday January 30, 2018 at Rooftop Bar, Sense Hotel Sofia, gathered Endeavor Entrepreneurs, Board Members, Mentors, Staff, Partners and Friends for an evening full of networking and awards.

The program opened with remarks from Momchil Vassilev, Managing Director of Endeavor Bulgaria, who highlighted the accomplishments of the organization over the past year. In 2017, Endeavor Bulgaria successfully selected 14 new entrepreneurs, leading 8 companies to join the network. We have our first entrepreneur outside Sofia (Pressian Karakostov) and our first female entrepreneur (Zornitsa Chugreeva). Furthermore, we now have 5 female entrepreneurs! Altogether, Endeavor Bulgaria supports 19 entrepreneurs, leading 12 companies, which generated revenues of BGN 120 M+ for 2016 and created 750+ high-quality jobs!

Endeavor Bulgaria Board of Directors has expanded with three new members – Plamen Russev, Armand Arton and the first corporate member – Postbank, represented by Petia Dimitrova – who is the first woman on the Board as well.

On a Global Scale, we have celebrated Endeavor 20th Anniversary and hit 1,000 companies in 30 growing markets, represented by 1,600 entrepreneurs. Our pioneering, rule-based investment fund – Endeavor Catalyst has closed its Second Fund with over $85 million in commitments!

During the event, Nedelcho Spasov, Founder and General Manager at Easy Asset Management, handed over the Chairmanship of Endeavor Bulgaria to Lyubomir Minchev, Founder and CEO of Group Telelink Holdings.

The evening culminated with a special Mentors Awards Ceremony at which we honored our most Active Mentors with the following categories:
