Endeavor Bulgaria’s Board Member Stefan Gugushev is Part of the National Jury at Get in the Ring – the Olympics for Start-Ups

We are proud to announce that Endeavor Bulgaria has partnered with the Association of Bulgarian Leaders and Entrepreneurs (ABLE) for the start-up challenge – Get in the Ring, part of an international entrepreneurship forum that evaluates the most promising start-ups from more than 70 countries.The competition provides start-ups the opportunity to present their ideas on the international entrepreneurial stage and helps them expand their network of contacts with investors. The competition is called “Get in the Ring” because start-ups present their ideas on a boxing ring in front of a jury.

Stefan Gugushev, Managing Partner at Gugushev & Partner Law Offices and Endeavor Bulgaria’s Board Member served as  one of the four expert jury members in the competition.

On November 17th, 2015,  six promising startups competed against each other at Inter Expo Center, Sofia. In the middleweight category, the winner is Bueno, a startup focused on maps for skiing  that provide information about the slopes as well as about the location of family and friends in real time.  The winner in the lightweight category is ClaimCompass – a startup that aims to settle the compensation dispute over overbooked and delayed flights outside the courtroom by overtaking the communication with the airline and mediating between it and the customers. Both startups will be presenting at the regional final for Eastern Europe in January 2016. The regional winners will have the chance to pitch their business idea during the International Finals at South America, Columbia in March 2016.
