Alexandra Mirtcheva

Alexandra Mirtcheva is Chairperson, CEO, and a member of the Board of Directors of VM Finance Group. With over 27 years of management experience, she has led the group for the past five years, overseeing a diversified portfolio across FMCG distribution (Delion, Avendi), retail (Gebr. Heinemann Bulgaria, Heinemann West Balkan), logistics (Movio Logistics), media and publishing (Manager Media Group), marketing and communications (A-team), education (ABC KinderCare Center, ABClandia), and prepaid corporate services (Edenred Bulgaria).

She was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of VM Finance Group in 2005. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Edenred Bulgaria since 2016 and a member of the Board of Directors of Gebr. Heinemann Bulgaria since 2004, Heinemann West Balkan since 2023.

Ms. Mircheva is the winner of the “Most Committed to People Management Organizational Leader” award for 2015 of the Bulgarian Association for People Management – BAPM, the award for “Best Family Business in Central and Eastern Europe” of the Austrian bank Bank Gutmann among companies from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Russia and others. With more than 50 awards for the businesses she manages, in 2024, Avendi, one of the companies, part of the VM Finance Group received the most prestigious DIAGEO award “Partner of the Year” for EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa).

For the first time, a female leader has been awarded the most prestigious recognition of the largest multinational beverage company in the world.
