Tell us how your story began. What was the inflection point that made you realize this could become a serious business, not just an idea?

FitKit started as B2C only model but very soon we became aware that corporate wellness is growing and it is much smarter to enter in this game. Soon after that we realized that many of the gym memberships go unused and most fitness aggregators actually are not just solving the problem but making it worse. That’s why we started with this pay-per-user model. And after 3 years the fact that not one client on the domestic market went in the hands of our competitor, made us aware that this could be a great business and we should expand it cross border.

Share a little-known fact about your industry, product, or market that would surprise most people.

Most wellness platforms profit when people don’t show up, because unused memberships boost margins. FitKit flips that logic: we earn only when employees actually book activities, while our pay-per-use model still cuts employers’ wellness spend by ~50%.
