Meet the Team: Blagovest Stoyanov

Meet Blagovest Stoyanov, our summer-intern turned part-time Junior Entrepreneur Experience associate. Blago is definitely a success case, someone so determined he makes his own path.

What is Entrepreneur Experience? The team which deals with anything related to the entrepreneurs in our portfolio. From access to capital to access to talent, the EX team are there to guide and support. They are the backbone of our Endeavor offices.

Read below for insights into how Blago juggles studying and work.

1. You’ve been a part of our team for a while now! What’s your secret ingredient for staying committed and passionate about what we do here?

The complexity of work is an important part of keeping me committed to Endeavor—understanding what is happening in our Dare2Scale program to our Regional and Global Program. I have different responsibilities to more than one person in the team, which is the main thing that keeps me energized and motivated during my journey until now. I know that the information or content that I need to create or help with is important for the workflow of the programs. The team is great and I know that when I need help, I will have support for every type of task in and out of work. Therefore, I would want to be fair to them as well.

2. Tell us about that one experience at Endeavor that was so awesome, you go back to it often.

I can say that the post-event activity with the team is pretty fun. We discuss what happened during the event, and some exciting news about a company or other type of organization. The freshest memory is after the Opening Ceremony of the 5th Dare2Scale Cohort, which was a really useful event for Endeavor, but for me as well. The reflection thoughts from the team after such events are a great experience for me.

3. We often say that no two days are the same with us, but give us a sneak peek into your typical work week. Is there a certain routine you follow? Any moments you specifically look forward to during the week?

As a part-time associate and second-year student at the university, my work weeks are pretty different all the time. Most of the time, I have different tasks related to helping with the Servicing for the Regional and Global Programs, some administrative tasks, and marketing tasks(content creation, sometimes designs, etc.) for all the programs.

When I am at the university, my schedule is mixed. Sometimes, I work early morning, sometimes in the late evenings. That depends on my study materials or extracurricular activities.

As a routine, I try to extract 3-4 hours per day, only for working and as I have said, it depends on my lectures and homework. I decide that this is the time only for Endeavor and nothing else. If my study load is similar in the next one or two weeks, I follow a calendar about which day I will work and at what time. I plan my schedule during the weekends and that gives me a clear view of what I am going to do during the week.

I am not sure that I am looking forward to specific moments, but I can say that it is pretty fun when I have the chance to be in the office. My colleagues are really fun, and I like working with them in person. They tell funny jokes, which makes the work environment chillier.
